A bit about my studies

Oh my god! The semester has ended. Was it a relief or have I started missing all those classes? I think I'll need to have a toss to get the decent answer. Its told that you'll know what your heart wants when the coin is halfway up in the air! So true. It wasn't a good one if you ask me, the semester. What's the use of a 9 pointer when you know the loads of errors you created in the path?! I am still pondering as to where i went wrong. Was it my over confidence or simple negligence, I can't frame my situation exactly. Some, I know, I wouldn't have managed well enough but coped with it in a better way than I anticipated. Forget my study history! I think I really enjoyed the sem. Its funny to see now that I had actually thought it as a difficult task to even get anywhere around a 7 pointer! That seems to be a long lost thought! So long first sem and here comes sem 2.

And the holidays that have been running past have been a waste of time to me. Actually, I did nothing. Not even roaming. I have been sitting in the house all day through the past two weeks and trying to watch some movies and get through some John Grisham and Robert Ludlum novels. Good, though they are, I'm not able to build up the constant interest needed to drift through the story!
Sad! Well, it won't be the case, i hope, in the time coming.

Last Saturday I was in ujire, in Vishwa Tulu Sammelana - 2009. It was wonderful event that would help you to know the glorious culture and values the region maintains till date. Though the estimate of people attending was under estimated to a large extent the convention was managed well enough. The whole stretch of the highway from Guruvayanakere till Dharmasthala had been decorated with portraits of various artistes in their various make-up in the southern style (tenku-tittu) yakshagaana (Which typically belongs to tulunadu). The ajjarakaadu tulugrama (a typical village of the region as it had been before two generations) displayed the lifestyle of the localites as it had been during the time of independence and later. On a whole, it was a success to a great extent. for those who missed it, I hope you'll get another chance in the form of more Tulu conventions. or more better, by the establishment of a permanent Tulu village.

That's it for now. to come up with more imaginations. da svidaniyan
